Balsamic Mushrooms

Now who wouldn’t Balsamic Vinegar mushrooms? This is such a way to spice up any party or dinner that you go to! You can eat these mushrooms either hot or cold.
Ingredients -
1/3 Cup Olive Oil
3 Cloves Garlic (minced)
1 Pound Fresh Mushrooms (sliced)
3 Tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
3 Tablespoons White Wine
Salt and Pepper to Taste
 
Preparation:

1. Saute the garlic in olive oil for 1 to 2 minutes.

2. Do not brown the garlic.

3. Add mushrooms and cook 2 more minutes, stirring occasionally.

4. Stir in balsamic vinegar and wine.

5. Cook another 2 minutes.

6. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

White Wine
Make sure that the wine you use to prepare these mushrooms is the wine you will be drinking with at dinner. You always want the flavors to complement each other. Drinking the same wine will insure this.

Button Mushrooms

I really like to use button mushrooms with this recipe. The really take in the flavors and they retain the plumpness and texture.
