Grilled Portobello Mushrooms

The steak of the mushroom world would have to be a Portobello mushroom. They are delicious stuffed, grilled or marinated. They are amazing and such a wonderful taste.
Ingredients -
3 Portobello Mushrooms
1/4 Cup Canola Oil
3 Tablespoons Onion (chopped)
4 cloves garlic, minced
4 Tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
 
Preparation:

1. Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems.

2. Reserve the stems for other use.

3. Place the mushroom caps on a plate with the gills up.

4. In a small bowl combine the oil, onion, garlic and vinegar.

5. Pour the mixture evenly over the mushroom caps.

6. Let them stand for 1 hour.

7. Grill over hot grill for 10 minutes.

8. Serve immediately.

Portabello Mushrooms
3 portabella mushrooms is just not enough so feel free to double or even triple this recipe. It is so delicious that no matter how many you cook they will be gone in a second.

Main Dish

Make this recipe as the main dish. Serve it with a n ice hardy salad and some garlic bread. This way the focus is the mushroom steak.
