1. Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems.
2. Reserve the stems for other use.
3. Place the mushroom caps on a plate with the gills up.
4. In a small bowl combine the oil, onion, garlic and vinegar.
5. Pour the mixture evenly over the mushroom caps.
6. Let them stand for 1 hour.
7. Grill over hot grill for 10 minutes.
8. Serve immediately.
